ByLaws/Policies
The eight members of Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors work very closely with our staff and membership to establish fair business practices and policies. Many of FLEC’s board policies were established in 1940 based upon the
7 Cooperative Principles. These policies are routinely evaluated and adjustments are made if necessary. These policies are adopted with the best interest of our members in mind.
The
Bylaws of Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative are the foundation upon which the cooperative was build and the guidelines for the operations still today. Any changes to the bylaws must be submitted before the members for approval before any changes can be enacted. Each member who signs up for service with FLEC should receive a copy of these bylaws.
