Supporting our Local Fire Departments

FLEC recently finished distribution of checks to some non-profit, volunteer local first responder groups located on or serving the cooperative’s service area. The cooperative’s board of directors approved the donation of a total of $ 13,500 to local volunteer fire/rescue entities, as it had done in 2021. 

“FLEC’s membership is blessed to have so many brave men and women serving our communities and it is our hope that these contributions will help them buy fuel and meet other needs necessary to sustain them in the future”, Jarrod Brackett, FLEC’s CEO shared.
