Outage Update for 1-3-22

As our outage restoration efforts continue, FLEC still currently has around 1,000 members without power. Obstacles to our power restoration continue to include broken poles, broken trees on the lines, and many downed power lines due to last night’s snowfall. The outages are widely spread across FLEC’s three county service territory, which has substantially slowed down our progress. Rest assured our crews will continue working through the night. We cannot guarantee all power will be restored by morning but we will be making every effort to do so. If you are without power and have friends or family you may stay with overnight we recommend doing so due to the cold temperatures.
