Message Alerts Issue for Members


FLEC has been made aware of an issue regarding text message alerts and reminders not being sent to some members. After researching the issue, it appears the issue is isolated to members served by Verizon Wireless. This means if your cell service is through Verizon Wireless you may no longer be getting text alerts regarding your FLEC bill or daily usage. This is most critical for our PrePay members. FLEC’s billing provider is searching for a solution to this problem. However, one confirmed solution for members is to call (877-353-2674) and make sure FLEC has a valid email address on file so alerts and reminders may be sent via email instead of by text messages.
