District 1 Election - Tomorrow 8-31-21

FLEC’s district 1 meeting/election will take place tomorrow, August 31, at Friendsville Elementary School. We currently plan to offer drive-thru voting, weather permitting. Two lanes, divided according to member’s last name, will form under the covered bus loading area. Members should be prepared to show their proof of identification. If the weather is really bad, we will be forced to move the voting inside the cafeteria. Early voting will begin at 5 p.m. and continue at least until 7 p.m. All eligible voters were mailed a notification postcard several weeks ago. Each registered member tomorrow night will automatically be entered into a door prize drawing. Winners will be drawn on Wed., Sept. 1 and notified by phone. See you then and be safe!
