Storm Restoration Update

2/18/2015

Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative is continuing to work around the clock to repair damage done by the ice storm on Monday. We are being assisted by an additional 42 linemen today in the restoration process. Our crews will be working around the clock until all power is restored.
At this time there is no way to give you a specific time that your power will be restored. Due to the cold temperatures that are forecasted tonight, if your power is not restored by late this afternoon, you are urged to consider seeking shelter with family, friends, or consider going to a shelter in your area. Sequoyah High School is open in Monroe County. Monte Vista Church is open in Blount County. Memorial Building, Blairland Baptist Church, and New Providence Church are all open in Loudon.
We appreciate your patience and understanding. Our crews are facing dangerous conditions and brutal weather around the clock. We apologize for the conditions Mother Nature has placed before us and can only hope she is kinder in the days ahead.
