Sharing Member Concerns with Washington, DC

Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative (FLEC) has a presence and a voice in Washington, D.C. this week as cooperatives gather from across the U.S. to speak with our Federal Legislators about what matters to the people cooperatives serve. Over 2,100 attendees representing 47 states gathered together for this common purpose. FLEC is concerned about any proposed legislation that could affect our ability to provide safe electricity and services to our members while keeping our members’ rates low and services reliable. "Tennessee has always had great legislative support overall in D.C....I suspect that we will have productive visits and get support on the areas of concern," Jarrod Brackett shared.
