Notice of Qualifications for Director of 
Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative

  All interested members of Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative, residing in FLEC’s Districts 1 and 7 who desire to qualify as a candidate for election as a director within any of the directorate districts must file certification with the General Manager/CEO of the cooperative no later than August 1, 2015.

  One director to serve a term of three years shall be elected from each of the following directorate districts:

      District 1 - Shall consist of the following meter cycles: 715, 717, 720, 723, 725, 730, 731, 732, 735, 737, 750, 751, 755, 760, 762, 765, 770, 780, and some 900’s.

      District 7 - Shall consist of the following meter cycles: 500, 503, 525, 530, 532, 535, 540, 542, 543, 545, 547, 550, 552, 553, 560, 562, 565, 567, 580, 585, 590, 595, and some 900’s.


1.  Qualification Requirements:  The qualifications for eligibility to become a director are set forth in Article IV, Section 4.02, of the bylaws of Fort Loudoun EC. Copies of the bylaws are available at the cooperative office.

2.  Certification:  A qualifying certification for each candidate must be filed with the General Manager/CEO no later than August 1, 2015, and must be signed by the candidate as a member in good standing whose premises served by the cooperative are located in the directorate district of the candidate. Those certifications are available at the office of the cooperative in Vonore.


The cooperative service area is divided into eight districts with two or three districts holding elections each year.

Every member living within each district will receive a notice of election flyer inside their electric bill in the year their election is held.
