FLEC Celebrates 75 Years

Fort Loudoun Electric Cooperative (FLEC) celebrates its 75th anniversary at its annual meeting on Saturday, October 3, at Sequoyah High School in Madisonville, TN. The doors will open at 8:00 a.m. that morning and a biscuit breakfast will be provided. The first 500 members through the doors will receive a $20 credit toward their electric bills. Several door prizes will be given away as we celebrate this diamond anniversary. Entertainment will be provided by the Baker Creek Boys and the Madisonville Primary School Choir.

The business meeting will start at 10:00 a.m. and give members insight into the status of their Cooperative. John Loope, FLEC’s Board President, will preside over the meeting as we discuss the financial health of the Cooperative, past projects completed, and what changes the membership can expect during the upcoming year. FLEC’s employees will stand ready at displays, booths, and with old and new equipment to assist our membership to become better informed and actively prepared to move our membership well into the 21st century.

Any questions can be addressed by calling FLEC’s office at 1-877-353-2674.
