EPA hears from cooperative members

Dear Members,

To those who sent comments to the EPA, thank you for speaking out and making your voice heard.

By taking action, you have joined other concerned Americans who sent more than 1.1 million comments opposing EPA’s power plant proposals. Stacked on top of one another, these comments would tower nearly ten stories higher than the Statue of Liberty! That’s a powerful message by any stretch of the imagination. Without a doubt, this achievement will serve as a wake-up call and we will continue pressing the EPA to find a common sense solution to our energy challenges.

You have also made a tremendous impact on TVA’s power-plant planning process. Never before have so many people communicated with them about the need for energy that is both affordable and reliable, and it will make a difference for years to come.

Thank you again for the time and effort you invested in taking a stand. As new challenges arise, we will reach out and ask you to help protect our clean energy future. In the meantime, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to keep up with the latest information.

This major milestone could not have been reached without your voice and your action. We appreciate you!
